Arkansas Repertory Theatre exists to create a diverse body of theatrical work of the highest artistic standards that will entertain, engage and challenge local, regional and national audiences. Outreach programming for young audiences in central Arkansas and across the state reflects The Rep's commitment to the educational value of the performing arts. Museum of Discovery - All Aboard Arkansas Exhibit > November 17 to January 20, 2002 Come along as five speeding locomotives take you on an electrifying journey through Arkansas from the mountains to the river valleys and the delta! The elaborate, 700 sq. ft. exhibit, features five "O" scale trains running through mountain passes, across a gorge, over a river and through the delta, is patterned on the model railroad exhibit at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. All Aboard Arkansas is not just trains, it also has planes and automobiles and many examples of the infrastructure of our communities. |
